We think it is time to start using the blog again. Can we all commit to using it once a month? Even if it is only to share an update of how every one is doing.

Bryan asked us to use this at least once a month so I guess I will post for this month.
January 2012 has been a trying month and a joyous birthday month for the Packard family. We have celebrated 3 birthdays in our family. I think the only one that was excited about getting older was Daniel. He is pretty excited about being 4 instead of 3. He keeps telling me "I'm not 3 anymore". He is quite the little boy. Everyday he tells me mom I need to tell you something. I will ask him what it is and he says "I just love you". Nothing better for a mom to hear than that. It has gotten me through some rough patches and makes me stop and realize how blessed I am to have 2 wonderful children. As most of you know we lost our baby this month. I have been waiting to miscarry it on my own but my body isn't doing what it is suppose to. So I am scheduled for a D&C tomorrow January 26. I had a preop visist with Dr. Shelley (OBGYN) and she did another ultrasound to see what was going on. She stated that my uterus hasn't contrated and I could still see the baby in there. It will be nice to have this over with but also sad and depressing at the same time. Our family was looking forward to having one more join it. I guess we will just have to wait and see if the Lord has another one for us or if our 2 wonderful children is all we will have to raise in this life. I am very blessed to have a wonderful husband who has been great through this whole process and has cried with me.
