I am Alive

I just got home from the temple and I figured I would take a little time to fill you in on life here in Provo. We are having stake conference this weekend and the stake president asked us to go to the temple this week to prepare for this weekend. It is always so nice to go to the temple and to be able to forget everything that is going on and just be able to relax in his presence of peace. I think I am going to have to make this a weekly habit for the next few weeks so I do not go insane with all of the stuff I have to do for school and preparation for my internship.

Besides being swamped with hours of homework I have managed to enjoy a couple of evenings and had some fun doing it.

Here are a couple pictures from a black and white party My friend had. It was a night of elegant h'ordeorves, jazz standards, and mingling. (I thought this photo was a good representation of our ward ratio. (3 to 1)

This was a picture with every girl we could find at the party!

This week for FHE one of our sisters, who is a ceramist, brought clay and let us have a sculpting compition. With insperation from my dads klondike, and the summer cruise plans I created this peace called Alaskan Paradise

As far as dating goes, since I know you are all waiting for that part. I am still on the market. I went to Mary Ann's symphony and listed to a steering renditions of Beethoven's 5th. Other then that I have decided that Brigham City girls are.... I actually don't know. I have not given up yet. For our next activity she said she wanted to have a sushi party. I just wish Boise was 5 hours closer. It would make it that much easier.

It is about time for bed so I will have to fill you in on the rest later.

Hey Derek,
I don't live in Brigham City anymore so I think you should give me another chance setting you up with a "Willard" girl now. What do you think? By the way....nice sculpture. Who knew you had it in you???
Love you...
K
